Giving voters what they want and winning them over is “stroking their egos” now? That’s such a cynical way to look at your fellow voting Americans. They are not your enemy.

Nobody said she has a chance of winning. She only helps “the orange bad” if you blame voters when a candidate loses rather than that candidate fucking around and finding out with their policy positions. We learned this with Hilary. You can’t just coerce people into voting for you by threatening them with the other guy.

Nobody is saying she’s bad because she’s ugly, just that she’s ugly. You can draw those conclusions if you’re bad faith, but they’re obviously faulty conclusions that are more like what a parent tells their bullied child to make them feel better than anything politically sound.
This isn’t the senate floor, this is lemmy. Maybe that guy doesn’t care that much about the politics, maybe they do. We can’t really tell from this comment alone. Regardless, they have just as much a right to be here as you do. So, you “just shut up” first lol and learn how to use a period while you’re at it.
It’s not the only thing, it’s just funny that on top of being ugly on the inside, so many of them fall squarely into uncanny valley on the outside too. It’s an interesting pattern to observe. Now quit shaming people for speaking their minds on a casual discussion forum. They aren’t hurting anybody.

I know what a 3 dimensional axis looks like. Trying to make my cram my hand into a poor approximation of one does not help me personally understand fields.
I don’t know how I should be the one to come up with a better shorthand if I’m the one being taught and not understanding.
This rule always pissed me off because it makes absolutely no sense to me and it’s terrible as a shorthand but my physics professors could not stop preaching it for any length of time to come up with something better
If they don’t want to be equated with republicans then they should stop taking up republican policy.
