As a bearded lumberjack-lookin’ MF who isn’t a conservative or a weakchin, these dudes can fuck right off. We do not claim them.
(plays William Wallace)
(endorses authoritarian candidate)
At the very least the man is skilled at pretending to be someone he’s not. That’s about all he’s got going for him.
Oh you know, the normal stuff women do to these guys like: refusing to have sex with them, having opinions, existing. All the typical incel shit.
I would still say all of this is a problem and certifies him as a jackass tbh.
Deleting the post after he felt personally offended doesn’t magically absolve him of having made the endorsement in the first place. And if he was paid for it that’s even worse imo.
Evidently yes, but only about “Made In” brand cookware. To be fair, it does look like some good quality stuff.
And Nicky Jam continues to look more like Nicky Jackass:
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts to a Dominican mother and a Puerto Rican father, his family moved to Puerto Rico when he was ten years old.
… on September 13, 2024, Nicky Jam endorsed Trump for president … Nicky Jam went on to delete his Instagram post endorsing Trump.

Alexandra Petri is courageous, Jeff Bezos is a scared little shit, spread the news.
One of my favorite geography facts, there are no fewer than three villages named “Shit” in Iran.
The actual creators at WaPo should just come forward as a group and endorse anyway. The fuck is Bezos gonna do, nuke his whole staff?
Edit: So far we have one, Alexandra Petri: https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/30367614
Edit 2: The WaPo cartoon team is collectively speaking out against the decision not to endorse: https://sh.itjust.works/post/27230878
Same boat here. I bought mine back when Elon was just “juvenile weirdo who makes dick jokes and smoked weed with Joe Rogan”. Best car I’ve ever owned hands down, no intention to buy anything Elon is selling ever again.
Shhh! That’s too much logic for them, you’re challenging them to reconsider their worldview.
idk what mobile OS you have but on iOS you can actually long press text in an image and it’ll OCR it into an actual text element you can copy/paste, like so:
I would imagine Android would have something similar but idk
I’m probably doing exactly what they want here (e.g. having a conversation about it), but that letter is called “Eth” and was the Old English way of spelling the “th” sound: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eth
A number of linguistic buffs want to bring it back to the modern English alphabet.
Same dude. Younger me would have confidently said something boneheaded like “I’d just drink and smoke until a miscarriage”, older me realizes I don’t have any semblance of capability to understand what must be going through this poor woman’s mind. And then even if she had tried something unorthodox to terminate the pregnancy, these sick fucks probably would have tried to put her in jail for it even though she’s the victim.
Look… you might’ve made me laugh pretty hard just now, but you didn’t have to post this. You woke up and chose violence.
I’ve heard this exact same thing from a former colleague that left my company to go work at a place selling “smart” security systems 🤦🏻♂️
I don’t know, I’m online quite a bit and wouldn’t say I see hate speech “often” at all. Then again, all of my socials are on the fediverse except for snapchat (yeah I know snap is a shit company - I use it to send pictures of food to a couple close friends), so there’s probably a bit of curation on my part.
You know I’ve been thinking about this since the memes are really driving home this association between the Hamberdler and McD’s. I wonder if this will push people away from buying their food on the long term and inadvertently lead to some subset of the population eating healthier than they otherwise would have. Probably just wishful thinking on my part though.
Also in my 30s in a safe blue state, and despite being a donor to several dem/progressive candidates, I have received precisely zero poll/campaign texts. I can’t help but wonder if it has something to do with me dropping traditional social media when I was 23 and never touching my accounts again. I’m pretty sure Meta and Twitter think I died at age 23 and I’m totally ok with that.
