He’s not even phrasing it as a threat, for him it’s just an “obvious solution” to a problem he made up. He doesn’t even see it as something serious so he doesn’t threaten us with it.

Which makes what he is saying even more scary. Imagine what is he NOT saying and that he thinks would be a threat? Fuck, as someone on the other side of the pond I hoped I could show my support to my fellow Americans but this will fuck us all in the end.

As other folk said, definitely do get the DLCs. There’s a whole other game in there.

It’s been a while since I last played, and this game IS a masterpiece, no doubt about that, but the one of the first sections can be rough. Iirc it’s gloomy af, there’s some hard monsters in some quests that can be demotivating and the combat/mechanics takes some getting used to which makes the previous point worse. Just know that the game opens up and there’s a whole world out there.

There are tons of side quests which are great, so you should do those but also don’t feel like you need to do all of them. It can be easy to get side tracked and then lose steam and quit on the main story.

Especially because like I said the DLCs are amazing. They are also quite self contained so it’s like a breath of fresh air

In any case W3 gwent is actually kinda crap in terms of balance but that just means you can own them super hard at some point

I was never really on Twitter (had an account that I never used). Tried mastodon recently to fill in some gaps from lemmy but there’s really no good way that I found, to follow interesting/active/popular people

Still, not as many people listen to older bands even if they are fans and especially for older bands people tend to listen more in other mediums

Take any videoclip from YouTube for example of any of the greatest song that is a 3, 4, 5 decades old and it will have far less views than a mild reggaeton hit from last summer, even if the old song has had far longer to accumulate views

I mean, using these spotify metrics in comparison with all time greats is kinda flawed.

For example my band sold just as many tickets as Michael Jackson and the Beatles COMBINED in 2024.

They’ll spin it that he’s so poor that he is incompetent or just going for VP for the paycheck will “billionaire” Trump is a good business man and doesn’t need the paycheck at all. But it will probably backfire cuz that just makes Walz relatable AF, especially to younger or more rural voters.

His audience is mostly kids yes but not all of them.

His content can and is too annoying for a lot of people and that’s fine but it’s also entertaining to a lot of other people. I’m sure that you’ve had the situation where the most famous band, sport, food etc isn’t something you like. And that’s totally ok. It turns out we kind like different things. I’d argue it’s a good thing.

Also people severely underestimate him just because they don’t like his content or for some other reason. Pretty much every big YouTuber will agree that he is extremely good and optimizing the algorithm and that’s not an easy thing. If it were everyone would be doing it and the truth is that not a lot of people get close to his success.

Some of his videos are just for shits and giggles but a lot of them in does give a ton of money to people in need. Some people dislike that he does this for his channel and don’t like him for it. However the truth is that in the end he gave more money to people in need than everyone in this comment section combined.
